Individual therapy includes an intake assessment of what your needs and goals are for therapy. Prior to our first appointment, you will receive an email from us with questions to answer and submit. This gives your therapist an opportunity to have a clearer understanding and vision for what our work will look like. At the end of our first appointment together, we will discuss what therapy will look like, for example, frequency of visits and potential length of our work together.

Of course, it’s difficult to determine the length of our time together, as this work is dynamic by nature. You are always in control of what we talk about, when we talk about it, and the pace of our work. It’s important that you feel safe and supported, so your therapist will check in with you during our sessions to evaluate how things are going.  Honest and open communication is what we are working on so we will also be doing lots of that and I welcome feedback at any time.

Appointment length is typically 50 minutes. We see clients both in-person and through Telehealth, Monday through Thursday.
