Yoga Nidra is similar to a guided meditation. Lying down on a comfortable surface facilitates the process and the goal is to move into a deep state of conscious awareness resting state. The goal is to relax into a hypnagogic liminal state of consciousness that allows you to access deeper parts of your being. Sounds amazing, huh?
